Time for New Year's resolutions. My perpetual one is to not fight with my mom---of course that usually lasts about the length of time it takes us to drive to the mall so I can return my unwanted Xmas gifts. My new resolution this year is to be a better journaler. I've got to take time to write, even if it just one sorry sentence a day. Who will inspire me to keep my writing pledge? December's birthday girl Virginia Woolf whose A ROOM OF ONE'S OWN is an accessible feminist classic about women and the written word.
