Brief bit about Louisa Luna's background, in her own words: Born and raised in San Francisco, I attended college at New York University. I wrote a really crappy book when I was 18 and living in LA, but I learned a lot from it --- what not to do, etc. My parents are both artistic people and always encouraged me to write and express myself creatively. My Dad started giving me books to read when I was about 12 , books that he was reading and liked -- THE WORLD ACCORDING TO GARP, a lot of Richard Brautigan -- and I got interested in books and stories and how to write them, and it turned into this thing I liked doing and was proficient at.
Louisa Luna currently resides in New York City. BRAVE NEW GIRL is her first novel.
