I am looking forward to reading to kill a mockingbird. it sounds like an interesting story, but who knows. maybe the house on mango street is a good book too. it won't matter to me anyways! i'm a total book worm. 6 chaper books a day!

The book that I am looking forward to reading the most on my summer reading list is Where the Heart Is by:Billie Letts. It is about a girl named Novalee Nation. She is 17, pregnant, and was just abandoned at a Wal-Mart by her boyfriend, Willy-Jack Pickens. Now she has to learn how to live life--in a Wal-Mart. I can't wait to read it!!

What is the book that you are looking forward to reading most on your assigned reading list?

I don't have an assigned reading list because I just graduated high school, and college does not have assigned summer reading. I am, however, enjoying the time that I have this summer to find and read a ton of books that I haven't had the time for lately because of my assigned reading.

I actually don't have an assigned reading list at my high school, but right now I'm reading The Hours by Michael Cunningham. It just really appealed to me, and I'm not sure why. Anyway, I'm only a few chapters into it, but so far it's really beautifully written.
