I am an 18-year-old girl who is in love with reading, my family, cats and Christmas time! I am currently attending a university where I am working toward a degree in marketing --- in hopes of working in the marketing department of a publishing company in the future. I also really love to act and participate in theatre. In addition to that, I enjoy shopping, playing the Sims, wearing fuzzy pants and planning. I love Disney and was voted “biggest kid at heart” in high school. I am really excited and honored to be a part of the Teen Board this year.

Mallory hasn't left the house in 67 days --- since the day her dad left. She attends her classes via webcam, rarely leaves her room (much to her brother's chagrin) and spends most of her time watching "The X-Files" or chatting with the always obnoxious BeamMeUp on New Mexico's premier alien message board. But when she's shockingly nominated for homecoming queen, her life takes a surprising turn.

Freya was never meant to be queen. Twenty-third in line to the throne, she never dreamed of a life in the palace, and would much rather research in her laboratory than participate in the intrigues of the court. However, when an extravagant banquet turns deadly and the king and those closest to him are poisoned, Freya suddenly finds herself on the throne. She may have escaped the massacre, but she is far from safe. The nobles don’t respect her, her councillors want to control her, and with the mystery of who killed the king still unsolved, she knows that a single mistake could cost her the kingdom --- and her life.
