Cue jungle yell now. On August 27th, a story by a Chicago advertising writer, Edgar Rice Burroughs first brought Tarzan to the world. The saga of an English nobleman's son abandoned in the African jungle and brought up by apes has been made into countless comic books, movies and television shows since and continues to capture the mind of adventurous types everywhere.
