Teen Board Monthly Question

Teen Board Question - January 2017, Part 1

New year, new books, same amazing Teen Board! To kick off the new year, we asked our Teen Board members about some of their read-solutions, whether they involve reading a certain number of books, finishing a series or trying out a new genre or author.  As a bonus, some members also shared the title of the first book they read this year.

Teen Board Question - December 2016, Part 1

Happy December, Teenreaders! The holidays are upon us, the end of the year is nigh and if you’re anything like us, you’re still shopping for those last-minute gifts for your friends and loved ones. Since we’re wrapping (see what we did there?) up the end of the year, we asked our Teen Board members two questions. First, we asked how many books they read this year. Then we asked whether or not they would be giving books as gifts this year and which ones they'd be giving. As a bonus, members were also invited to tell us about the best book (or bookish) gift they have ever received.

Teen Board Question - November 2016, Part 2

With Thanksgiving (and turkey, stuffing and that post-meal nap) on the brain, we at Teenreads are feeling particularly thankful for our favorite books. Throughout the year, tons of authors have given us incredible gifts in the form of realistic fiction, laugh out loud rom-coms, dramatic fantasies and way more! Now we're inviting our Teen Board members to join us at the figurative Thanksgiving table and tell us which book(s), series, author, or genre they’re most thankful for this holiday season.

Teen Board Question - October 2016, Part 2

BOO! Don't worry, it's not a ghost, it's our Teen Board Members in their wildest and wackiest Halloween garb. This month, we asked our Teen Board Members to describe their dream YA-inspired Halloween costume. Since we have a whopping 50 members for this cycle, we have split up their answers into two parts. Click here to read Part 1 and read below for Part 2.

Teen Board Question - September 2016

It’s back-to-school season here at Teenreads, so we decided to ask our new Teen Board Members about the best book they were assigned to read during a recent school year. As a bonus, we also asked what fall release each member was most excited to read outside of school and their methods for juggling assigned reading with personal reading. Read Below to see their answers!

Teen Board Question - August 2016

Although it seems like summer only just began, our balmy, carefree days are numbered and many kids and teens are heading back to school. With that in mind, we decided to ask our Teen Board Members about the best book they read this summer. Since we're always trying to learn more about how our readers find books, we also asked how they discovered their new favorite summer read. See their answers below!

Teen Board Question - July 2016

This July we're celebrating the release of HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD, the newest addition to J. K. Rowling's beloved Harry Potter canon. We've been preparing for this day since we turned the last page of HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, but now it's crunchtime. With the publication date rapidly approaching, we asked our Teen Board Members how they're gearing up for the release --- or, if they're not huge fans, how they celebrated new releases of other favorite series. See their answers below!

Teen Board Question - June 2016

With the days rapidly getting longer and warmer, we at Teenreads have one very important thing on our minds: summer reading! We don't just mean the books you're assigned to read for school, but the ones you wait all year to enjoy just for the fun of it. With our sunglasses on and our sunblock applied, we asked our Teen Board Members about their summer reading plans, from treasured re-reads to books they've waited all year to read.  Check out their answers below!
