The September 2016 - August 2017 cycle of the Teen Board is officially wrapping it up, and we thought we'd take a moment to look back on all of the good times with this month's questions. Read below to find out what our Teen Board members enjoyed most about their time on the board, their favorite book of the year and what advice they have for members of the next group.

Teen Board Question - July 2017, Part 1

Summer is the season for blockbusters --- aka the movies that nearly everyone rushes out to see. While we love a good movie, the ones that really draw our attention are the ones based on books. Since we have movies on the brain, we asked our Teen Board members how they feel about seeing their favorite books brought to life on the big screen. Read below to find out whether or not they prefer to read the book first, which adaptations are their favorites and which ones they feel missed the mark.

Summer break is finally here and we’re finalizing our vacation TBRs with all of the beach reads, fantasies and highly buzzworthy titles we've been hearing about for months. Teen Board Question - May 2017, Part 1

We love a good book convention --- what could be better than seeing your favorite authors, getting your books signed and meeting fellow booklovers? With conventions on the brain, we’re asked our Teen Board members what their perfect book convention would look like if they could design it from the ground up. Read below to find out which authors they'd invite, what topics their panels would cover and what kind of fun swag they'd give to attendees.

Teen Board Question - April 2017, Part 2

Here at Teenreads, we're in a spring break frame of mind. If you ask us, one of the best parts of reading is getting to travel to far off places you've only dreamed of --- without spending all of your money or having to pack (or overpack). While we're feeling springy and fun, we asked our Teen Board members which fictional or real setting from a book they would you love to visit for spring break --- and why?  As a bonus, we also asked them to tell us what sort of fun activities they would enjoy and which awesome characters they'd see.

Teen Board Question - March 2017, Part 2

As you may or may not know, March is Women’s History Month, a time when we celebrate all the rockin’ ladies who gave their lives and efforts to making the world a much better (and more equal) place. With that in mind, we asked our Teen Board members about some of their favorite female authors or heroines, whether they are endlessly witty, fiercely strong, or always writing the perfect endings to complicated storylines. Read below to find out who they're celebrating this month.

Teen Board Question - February 2017, Part 2

Flowers, chocolates, romance novels --- February is in full swing and we’re in a lovey-dovey mood here at Teenreads. To get in the spirit of things, we asked our Teen Board members a few questions about book boyfriends, romance novels, and OTPs. First, we asked if they have a favorite book boyfriend or girlfriend --- AKA a character they would love to date, if only he or she was real?  We know not everyone is ready to bare their bookish crush to the world, so we also asked about a scene from a book that they feel would make the perfect dream date. Of course, for those members whom Cupid hasn’t quite struck yet this season, we asked them to tell us about their favorite romance novel and/or OTP -- One True Pairing --- and why it stands out.
