I'd Tell You I Love You... by Ally Carter
Rating: 5 Stars
I'D TELL YOU I LOVE YOU, BUT THEN I'D HAVE TO KILL YOU was great since the minute the spine cracked! It just kept getting better and better! It was really good at the beginning, so just think what the end must have been like!

Alison
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I LOVED this book! I could not put it down. This is my favorite book I've ever read. I ended up reading it over 3 times. It got me interested in reading more novels about vampires. I have also read NEW MOON, the second book in the Twilight series and have pre-ordered ECLIPSE.

Olive
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 2 Stars
I know. I'm the only person in this entire world who truly hated this book. I read it about two years ago and I'm just tired of the millions of people who think it is SO amazing. The writing is mediocre at best, and it is just so dorky and predictable. I love how people say it kept them on the edge of their seats. I barely got through it. All in all, it's way overrated, but I'll read the series to see if it grows on me. Maybe I'll join the millions of minions who worship these horrible books.

Anna
Born Confused by Tanuja Desai Hidier
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is really refreshing. I enjoyed reading about Indian Culture and how the main character finally figures out who she really is.

Jania
Twilight by Stephienie Myer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was awesome. After I read this, I went out and bought the sequel. It's an amazing story of a vampire, and a human, and their love. I love this book.

Katie
Bloody Jack by L. A. Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is about a girl during the late 1700s who disguises herself as a boy so she can follow her dream of working on a ship. It's awesome, and I can't wait to read the others in the series.

Sylwia
Midnight in Lonesome Hollow: A Kit Mystery by Kathleen Ernst
Rating: 4 Stars
This was a good book! At first, it wasn't that interesting, but then it got better! The guilty one was someone never a suspect! I think everyone should read this!

Courtney
Avalon High by Meg Cabot
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is awesome because it is cool how it takes a regular everyday high school and takes the students to make them all relate to a character from King Arthur's time. It is a very good book.

Dj
Ex-rating by Natalie Standiford

Lindsay
Invasion of the Boy Snatchers by Lisi Harrison
Rating: 4 Stars
This book really sums up the whole story of not judging people by how they look. In this book, Nina, a foreign exchange student, also Alicia's cousin, attracts the attention of every boy in the whole community. But, some of the girls are NOT. Massie, Claire, and even Alicia all are SICK of Nina and her charming looks, but most of all, her mean and all-that attitude. When they start to figure out a plan to totally get revenge, everyone holds their breath. Will the plan work? Or will they be stuck with Nina forever? Read this ah-mazing book to find out.

Kangaroo-Kool Karen
Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved this novel! The book is about a girl, Jessica Darling, and how she copes at high school after her BFF moves. Right now, I'm reading the sequel, SECOND HELPINGS, and I hope it's as good as the first one :)

Erica Kalagidis
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
TWILIGHT is quite possibly the best book I have ever read. It was the first book I read about vampires, and it's definitely not the last. Stephenie Meyer has put me into a vampire frenzy. This book is one that no person could ever put down. You'll find yourself identifying with Bella and falling in love with Edward.

Numo
It Girl #3: Reckless by Cecily von Ziegesar
Rating: 5 Stars
It is the continuing story of Jenny Humphrey from Gossip Girl. The drama keeps heating up, and I hate it when Easy can't make up his choice between Jenny and Cally. Tinsley is up to something new again too.

Razburry Davis
Looking For Alaska by John Green
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was wonderful. It had suspense, romance, and mystery all in one!

Latisha
Just Listen by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was simply fantastic to me. I love how it is told in two tenses, past and present. And I love how Anabelle is an average girl. She's not too outspoken and not too quiet, but she's like a normal teen. This book addresses something about teen rape that isn't shown in many books, as well as a little something about friendship.

How I Changed My Life by Todd Strasser
Rating: 4 Stars
This was a pretty good book. It was much better than I thought it would be. Acting is one of my favorite hobbies to do at my community theatre and at school, so I was surprised to find that this is pretty much what this book was about.

Ai Sukamaru

Stephie
Anna's Story by Brownyn Donaghy
Rating: 5 Stars
This is a true story that looks into the life of Anna Wood, an Aussie girl out to have fun, who pops an ecstasy pill and dies. The book interviews her Mum, Dad, sister , friends and employers, as well as shows us Anna's own letters.

Kay
The A-List by Zoey Dean
Rating: 5 Stars
I was VERY impressed with this book. It is the first of seven books in the series. It is a very good teen read.

Sarah Fleenor
The Mediator by Meg Cabot
Rating: 5 Stars
This series is now my favorite. This is because Meg makes her characters --- Suze Simon, Fater Dom, and the rest of them --- into people I can relate to. I can see what these characters would look like if they were real. I sometimes find myself asking, What would Suze do? So, this series is great if you like to read about ghosts who need help getting to the other side, from a teen girl.

Kyra
Hold On by Alan Gibbons
Rating: 4 Stars
Good book, one of the best I've read in a while. It's about a boy called John who was bullied and committed suicide. His friend Annie now seeks his revenge. It's a little bit sad, but still a great book!

Laurel
Unforgettable by Cecily von Ziegesar
Rating: 4 Stars
I loved the newest book in my favorite series! It's a great sequel to the previous books and it includes lots of modern aspects of being a teen. It deals with teens' issues realistically from the points of view of said teens. They're also just so interesting to read because of the drama that goes on.

Elizabeth Newman
The Night I Disappeared by Julie Reece Deaver
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is very interesting. It's about a girl who is sucked into her daydreams. She's in love with a man who's too old for her, named Webb. Her mother is a lawyer, working on a very public case about a girl who murdered her father. Jamie, the main character, then starts going to therapy to figure out her recent panic attacks and craziness. There's lots of suspense and a unique twist at the end. I highly recommend reading this book.

Some Like It Hot by Zoey Dean
Rating: 5 Stars
I know there are two more books to be read before I am completely caught up, but this book was awesome. Cammie finally opens up and tries to find out how her mom died, or who killed her. So scandalous!

Stephanie
Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is about a teenage girl, Sophie, changing her view on the world by learning philosophy. Her teacher has a few mysteries, and Sophie keeps on getting mysterious letters and items from Hilde's father. This book was translated from the Norwegian text. It covers all aspects of philosophy, and is kind of like a mix of all the things we learn in school, like Plato, Descartes, and different ideas of life. It shows how humans came to be and how ideas evolved over time. Away from things like the geocentric theory, to the heliocentric theory. It even has scientific method in it. It may be hard to read, but it's worth all the information.

Alyssa
I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith

Em
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
Rating: 5 Stars
This is about a girl growing up in Nazi Germany. It's interesting because most stories that take place during this time are about Hitler's scapegoats, but Zusak proves life was hard for everyone.

Ellen
Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was great!!

Glenda
Girl at Sea by Maureen Johnson
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved it! It was a fantastic book. Maureen Johnson is an incredible author. I recommend it if you love Sarah Dessen.

Angela
TWILIGHT and NEW MOON by Stephanie Meyers
Rating: 5 Stars
I love these books! Basically, I don't usually read books about fantasy and vampires, but once I got my hands on these books I couldn't put them down!!! I am in love with Edward. Bella isn't my favorite on account that she acts kind of stupid and childish. So without Edward, I probably wouldn't read these books. Wouldn't you love to have someone like him in your life? Well, if he weren't a vampire? I cannot wait till the 3rd book comes out!

Angela
Dramarama by E. Lockhart
Rating: 3 Stars
I thought it was okay. It's definitely the best book by E. Lockhart, but I didn't like the main character. I thought she was obnoxious and didn't know when not to talk. I think I probably finished the book because of Demi. He sounds like someone I wished I knew. Sayde (the main character), not so much.

Sammie
After by Francine Prose
Rating: 5 Stars
OMG! I couldn't put this book down! It was great and creepy! Its about a boy named Tom whose school has a grief counselor, who turns the school in to a prison! It's so good! I love love love it!

Lindsey
Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz
Rating: 4 Stars
I just loved the way that she thinks vampires come to life. I sometimes think I am one by her descriptions of what her characters show --- you can see a ton of blue veins on my body and I *love* meat. Haha!

Brittany
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is FANTASTIC. It leaves you with a better understanding of the Middle East and what people have been through. I couldn't put it down and it's definitely at the top of my list of favorite books.

Silent.Laugh
Peeps by Scott Westerfeld
Rating: 5 Stars
Scott Westerfeld is an awesome author. I recommend every one of his books that I have read --- UGLIES, PEEPS, SO YESTERDAY. Most of his novels are part of a series. PEEPS is simply about peeps (aka parasite-positives, aka vampires), parasites and....well, thats pretty much the root. Just like in Westerfeld's novel SO YESTERDAY, Peeps takes place in New York City and is about a secret organization that classic New Yorkers do not know about. For all we know, it could be a nonfiction book though I highly doubt it...but then again, the government does have their secrets... Anyways, if you like blood-sucking creatures, a scientific explanation for everything, gross-filled things (things that make you say "eww") and/or hot vampires and high hormones (that's right HOT and HORMONES), then this is definitely the book for you. P.S. Don't get too excited about the hot vampires and high hormones.

Olinda
The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
Rating: 5 Stars
It was really a compelling book that tugs on your heart strings. I cried, laughed, and hated with all my soul.

Broken
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I didn't really care that my all-time favorite character was missing almost the whole time, but it was absolutely amazing. I'm kind of upset that none of it can be a reality. You'll understand when you read TWILIGHT and NEW MOON.

livre_girl_555
Looking For JJ by Celia Rees
Rating: 4 Stars
This book tell the story of what happened 6 years ago when three children wander off from some cottages, go into a near by forest, and only two out of three come back. It is a very clever book. Just as you think Jennifer Jones is getting out of prison, think again.

Alexandra
Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret by Judy Blume
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is about Margaret Simon, who is almost 12. She just moved from NY to the suburbs, and she is anxious to hang out with her new friends. They form a secret club and talk about boys, bras, and getting there first periods. No one can believe that Margaret doesn't have a religion. She can't tell anyone that she can talk to god either. This book is one of the best books out there. I highly recommend that you read it.

Josela Cruz
The Blue Girl by Charles de Lint
Rating: 5 Stars
This is a great book to read. It's about a girl who is a rebel, but she changes when she moves to a different house and school. She meets a girl that is a goody-two-shoes, and because of her, she starts to be a better person. This is wonderful book.

Ema
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

The Strange Case of Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson

Sarah
Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is awesome. It really makes you think of what happens after death. It expands you imagination.

Fiona
The Book of Luke by Jenny O'Connell
Rating: 4 Stars
This book chronicles what happens when three best friends decide to create a "how-to" guide on how guys should act. However, things spiral out of control when Emily, the protagonist, tests out this experiment on Luke, the hottest and most popular guy in school. There is a lot of teen angst and boy troubles in this novel. Overall, it was a cute and fast read with an important lesson about love and the limits of changing the behavior of others.

Glenda
Vegan Virgin Valentine by Carolyn Mackler
Rating: 5 Stars
Really, really good. I really enjoyed it.

Silent.Laugh
Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book! I'm glad some author out there in the world decided to write about the way we look at our selves nowadays. I feel this book reflects today's time but in a more drastic way. It's filled with adventure, curiosity, and truth. I plan to read the rest of the books in the trilogy, PRETTIES and and SPECIALS. If you haven't read this book, I highly recommend you do.

Emma K.
The Celebutantes by Antonio Pagliarulo
Rating: 4 Stars
I just started reading this delicious book, and already, it has lured me in. I just can't get enough of it! I enjoy working on my novel in my spare time, and my writing style can relate to the style found in this book. Very interesting and very scandalous. I totally recommend this book to anyone who has a passion for fashion, and a love for the red carpet.

Emma K.
Life Of Pi by Yann Martel
Rating: 4 Stars
Sometimes, I find myself sitting in a comfy chair devouring a book that is a little to "old" for me. I recommend this book for the more mature audience. It has nothing to do with celebrities, fashion, or scandal... but more to do with life lessons. The beginning is dry and tedious, but once you get into part two, you will be reading for hours on end.

Emma K.
Finding Lubchenko by Michael Simmons
Rating: 5 Stars
I truly loved this book, and adored every page. It's about a rich, good-looking teenager and his two best friends finding the murderer of his dad's co-worker, through an upscale chase in Paris. I wont say much more about it. I am looking forward to going out and buying the second book. Hopefully, it will be more intriguing than the first.

SUMMER HEAT and SUMMER COOL by Kate Petty
Rating: 5 Stars
I just couldn't put these books down when I started to read them. They follow the ups and downs of six teenage girls trying to find summer romances, some are staring the girls in the face, and others, the girls have to find. I loved them and would definitely recommend them as summer teen reads.

Luke

Rating: 5 Stars
This is excellent! it has a good story and it is unique because of the unique format.

Carla
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is a thrilling romance novel with a lot of action. Bella, a human, falls in love with Edward, a vampire. There are so many things that are wrong with this picture. First of all, Edward could kill Bella in just a couple of seconds. Secondly, nobody is supposed to know about Edward being a vampire.

Allison
Just Listen by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
I read JUST LISTEN because I liked some of the other books by Dessen, but I had no idea I would love it so much! It kept me reading, and wondering what was going to happen in the end. I felt like I could relate to some of the main character's traits, like how she has trouble speaking her mind or didn't want to disappoint people. I wanted to see the character break out of her shell and finally speak out!

MiMi

UGLIES, PRETTIES. and SPECIALS by Scott Westerfeld

Thalia W.
TWILIGHT and NEW MOON by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
These are great books! ECLIPSE, the third book in the series, is supposed to come out sometime in August, or in the fall. I fell in love with these characters, and anyone who likes reading a little about the dark-ish side, and loves romance, will love these books.

Thalia W.
Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is my favorite in the world. Every time i read it, I get the same warm feeling in the end. I fell in love with Ella and Char the moment I read about them. There is only one thing I am angry about; the fact that Gail Carson Levine let someone make a movie out of ELLA ENCHANTED, Because it is by far the worst movie ever. I just think they ruined the book by doing that. But, that is only my opinion. So, I recommend this book.

Adaeze
The Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
Rating: 5 Stars
Despite it unconventional title, this book was awesome! I absolutely loved it. Though it was not a strictly romance book (it was loaded with action scenes involving hoverboards and bungee jackets), it had an underlying message that I think everyone would like. What is the price of being pretty? Is it worth losing your 'self' in the process?

Alyssa

As they live at the village longer and longer, they begin to realize some of its dangers and secrets.

This was a really good book. It talks about how one copes when your mother's in the mental hospital after her suicide attempt. It's in poem form, which makes you understand the character's emotions and feelings better.

People are starting to die. They know too much. The tattoo becomes law. Once you become of age, there is no turning back. Kayla knows what she must do. She joins Decode, a group of resisters. She knows it's time to run from the world that is falling apart. And whoever resists and gets caught ends up dead.

The Bar Code Rebellion by Suzanne Weyn
Rating: 5 Stars
Kayla has lost a lot in the resistance. It seems like everyone she has encountered is dead. She's the girl everyone wants to be captured. What happens after that, no one knows. But things get peculiar when Kayla sees a girl advertising for Global-1. She's putting the blame on the wrong people, and has that dreaded tattoo on her wrist. When Kayla has a glimpse of the girl, that face, that smile, it is hers. Is she Kayla's twin, or possibly her clone? Kayla is not so sure when she finds more look-alikes, some nice...some not so nice. She can't stop running. Getting caught would be a disaster. A close friend commits suicide, and a person she loves is forced to acquire the tattoo on their wrist. She is reunited with old friends, and meets new ones. The secrets she's been looking for are finally revealed, and they're not so pretty. Will the bar code rebellion finally be over? Will everyone get the freedom they deserve?

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J. K. Rowling
Rating: 5 Stars
One of the most amazing books I've ever read. It's absolutely brilliantly written. I'm trying not to put spoilers in here, so all I can say is that the storyline itself and the way it was written really provoked emotions. It was so sad. I cried and cried at the ending. If you've never read the Harry Potter series; do it now. They are definitely one of the best series I've ever read. Harry's is an enthralling and vivid adventure full of exciting twists and turns that you get pulled into instantly.

Secret of the Dragon's Eye by Derek Hart
Rating: 5 Stars
Thaddeus Osbert is a dragon who lives in Cornwall, England. He takes under his wing three teens, Gavin, Emily and Bunty. This book is so cool because the dragon is funny, and addicted to sugar. There's a lot of action and adventure, and I learned a lot about being a teen in England during World War II. There are Germans sneaking around and a nasty black dragon who wants Thaddeus dead. This is Book One, so I can't wait until the next book comes out!

Rocket Boys by Homer Hickam
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is a true story about the "rocket boys" of Coalwood, Virginia who changed their town in many ways. It takes place during the time when Russia launched Sputnik into space. Homer and his friends are interested in rockets and try building their own. Some of the townspeople think of them as bothersome, while others believe their dreams of going into space are very intelligent. I thought the book was pretty great because it combined humor, history, reality, and drama to tie everything together!

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
Honestly, this is the best book I have ever gotten my hands on. If you enjoy vampires, heart-pounding action, or romance, this book is definitely something you need to read. I was so fascinated. I finished it in 2 days, as well as the 2nd book, NEW MOON, which is equally amazing. I am anxiously awaiting ECLIPSE, which will be released August 7, 2007.

Fairest by Gail Carson Levine
Rating: 4 Stars
A whole new spin on the Snow White fairytale. Like SNOW WHITE, FAIREST has a dark plot, but a happy ending. The ties to the fairytale are not obvious until close to the end of the book, but it is one of Levine's best works, by far. Highly recommended.

Valynn
Witch Child by Celia Rees
Rating: 4 Stars
I was a bit apprehensive about reading this book because it is in diary form, but not far into the book, you forget about that because you are drawn in by the story. Set in the mid-1600s, it follows a girl escaping the English witch hunts and coming to America. She joins the Puritans and fights to hide her true self. Is she a witch or isn't she? A great read!

School's Out by Christophe Dufosse
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is not out quite yet. I work in a bookstore and got my hands on an advance reader copy. So far. it's awesome! It's super mysterious, full of action, and there is a thick plot and lots of details. It's about a new teacher who comes to replace another teacher who'd attempted suicide. The new guy, Pierre, notices something strange about all the students. They are too perfect and are definitely hiding something. Strange events unfold and he thinks maybe the suicide was actually murder... Keep your eyes peeled for SCHOOL'S OUT. It should be out in a couple of months!

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 4 Stars
I was truly impressed by NEW MOON . At times, sequels to outstanding books (in this case, TWILIGHT) are usually not as fulfilling as the first. However, NEW MOON kept me reading from page 1 non-stop! I have not read any book like the kind written by Stephenie Meyer. They are very unique and thrilling. I cannot wait until her next book, ECLIPSE. It is truly a joy to sit down and read one of her books! In fact, when people talk about NEW MOON at school, I am always the first to say, "Oh! That is a really good book!" I truly recommend NEW MOON to anyone at any age. I have deeply enjoyed it.

Now all Emma can do is look down and remember that she told him how she lost her virginity, that her goldfish aren't that same one her parents gave her, or how she thinks her boyfriend is so perfect that he looks like a Ken doll. Melissa takes a whole new avenue when it comes to vampires. Legends and myths we know are put in a whole new light and the "truth" is shocking. It's a beautifully twisted tale and I loved every minute of it. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys vampires, twisted plots, jaw-dropping action, and a little bit of romance. I'm so looking forward to the next installment!

The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult
Rating: 4 Stars
I always love Jodi Picoult's books. My teacher recommended THE TENTH CIRCLR to me. I love this book, it's about a young 14-year-old girl going through heartbreak after her 16-year old boyfriend breaks up with her. Now he is dating another girl, which causes Trixie (main character) to attempt suicide, and then an act of jealousy backfires. I can not put this book down, and it relates to so many girls, who have just lost their boyfriends, trying to do anything they can to get them back. Her home life also contains conflict, which a lot of young teens go through as well. This plot unfolds right in the beginning of the book, but more secrets are revealed as the book goes on. This is one of Jodi's best books.

An autobiography of the author's life during the Civil Rights Movement. She was one of the Little Rock Nine: one of nine African Americans who dared to integrate the all-white Central High School. This was an emotional and heart-breaking story of her childhood and innocence being stripped away within one school year.

A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is one of the best I have ever read. I just couldn't put it down and I ended up finishing it in 3 days. It's the story of a werewolf and a vampire who are both in love with the same girl. The race to save someone else's life rather than hers was just terrific! All the suspense in the novel was absolutely riveting and kept me reading on and on.

Now You See Her by Jacquelyn Mitchard

Rating: 5 Stars
I'm a person who doesn't get into books very easily, but this one was a real page turner! It's about a senior named Thyme who is dealing with the same problems any teenager that age would: boys, popularity, grades, right from wrong, etc., but the twist is that she gets pressured too much and becomes a drug addict and even starts dealing drugs. There are a lot of interesting events in this book, so why not read it and find out for yourself!

Teach Me by R. A. Nelson
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is amazing! Although the topic may be seen as controversial and inappropriate, it adds to the awkwardness of the real theme --- first love. R. A. Nelson uses dialogue phenomenally to make you feel like you are Nine, the main character. This compelling novel is one of my all-time favorites.

Sarah Paulson
Prince of Dogs by Kate Elliot

Very compelling, but the characters' points of view skips around from character point of view a lot. This book is part of a series, so it is taking a while to get to the point of the books.

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars

Twilight - and - New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
In my opinion, these are the two best books ever written. The author pulls her readers into this captivating story. I fell in love with Bella, Edward, and Jacob. In TWILIGHT Bella comes to live in Forks, where she meets Edward Cullen. The beautiful, mysterious, object of perfection...not to mention a vampire. In NEW MOON, you'll get to know Jacob Black much better. I laughed, cried, and fell in love with these books. I recommend that EVERYONE read these. You haven't lived until you have read them!
