Clarissa <3
Impulse by Ellen Hopkins
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is amazing. I could hardly put it down and was able to finish it within 3 days. The entire book goes into the minds of 3 very different teens, and the end will definitely have you crying....well it had me.

Emmaline
Truancy by Isamu Fukui
Rating: 5 Stars
This is a really good book, even though it is a little bloody!

Erica
Inkheart by Cornelia Funke
Rating: 5 Stars
It rocks. Before I read this book, I hated reading and everything about it. But now, I love reading and can't get enough of it.

Emmaline
The Red Necklace by Sally Gardner
Rating: 3 Stars
This book was ok. It is set during the French Revolution. I have read better books.

Josephine
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This is a great book! It's an easy read, yet it's captivating! I couldn't keep my hands off it, or the other two in the series, NEW MOON and ECLIPSE. I can't wait until the new one comes out on August 2nd!

Laura Martinez
Pants on Fire by Meg Cabot
Rating: 4 Stars
This is an awesome read. It's pretty funny and is another great book by Meg Cabot.

Mary
Sail by James Patterson
Rating: 4 Stars
An intriguing and fascinating read. I read it in 3 hours, though it's not the best James Patterson book.

Laura
Snowed In by Rachel Hawthorne
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was very cute. It was one of those romantic comedies that are a little predictable, but still kept me wanting to read more.

Laura Martinez
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This was the best book I have ever read! The two after it, NEW MOON and ECLIPSE, were fantastic also. I can't wait for BREAKING DAWN to come out!

Denise
Suite Scarlett by Maureen Johson
Rating: 5 Stars
A fun book that will keep you reading. THis was one of her best books yet.

Rachel
In the Stars by Stacia Deutsch & Rhody Cohon
Rating: 2 Stars
Atrocious. The writing was amateurish, the story was disgustingly predictable, and it was just plain boring. Two thumbs down. :(

Rachel
Tempted by Cecily von Ziegesar
Rating: 5 Stars
After finding out that a new It Girl book was arriving in stores, I couldn't get it off of my mind. And now that I have read the story, cover to cover, I can honestly say that it was well worth the wait! This story was fun and interesting, and when I was done, I was left wanting more. I couldn't put it down.

Connie W.
Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz
Rating: 5 Stars
It's one of my most favorite books (along with MASQUERADE, the second book in the series). And I can't believe I'm typing this, but it's even better than the Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer! (But that's good too!)

Juanita
Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes
Rating: 5 Stars
Yep, I decided this summer that I have to read a few classics, so right now I'm in the midst of reading. So far, it's really surprisingly easy to read.

I think classics are really good for everyone to read and so far I say DON QUIXOTE and it's actually pretty funny.

<3 Sarah <3
Geek Magnet by Kieran Scott
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved this book from the moment I picked it up. I can relate to it much more than I can to other books I read, and I think that is very important. This book is about a girl who is pretty and has a good personality, so you would think she would be popular, right? Nope! All the nerds think that she is "God's gift to geekdom." So, the popular girl tries to help her out, or does she....

I guess you will have to read it to find out for yourself.

ashleyŠ
The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas
Rating: 4 Stars
It's really good, but it's also really weird because a woman who one of the musketeers loves keeps getting abducted by the same person. It's also very sad because England is declaring war on France since the duke of Buckingham needs to give the queen her diamond tags back before the king has her killed or everyone finds out the the queen is having an affair with the duke.

Catherine
Persuasion by Jane Austen
Rating: 4 Stars
Like all Jane Austen books, it's amazing.

Maddy_Bee
Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
A really good book. I love how she combines all the different aspects of the story. Keep 'em coming.

Emmaline
Twice Upon a Marigold by Jean Ferris
Rating: 3 Stars
This book is extremely easy and sort of boring. I read ONCE UPON A MARIGOLD like when I was in sixth grade (the book before this one, obviously). I read it for only this reason!

Emmaline
The Princetta by Anne-Laure Bondoux
Rating: 3 Stars
Do not believe the summary on the back of this book! There are barely any pirates in this story! It could have been good if the author had not used long and weird names for the different places and some of the people.

Emmaline
Skin Deep by E. M. Crane
Rating: 5 Stars
Very, very good book.

Catherine
A Million Little Pieces by James Frey
Rating: 5 Stars
This is a great book! It's a heart-heartbreakingly honest story about a 23-year-old man who gets told that this was his last chance. This describes his experiences in a drug rehabilitation center.

Manda
Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night by Kresley Cole
Rating: 5 Stars
Good fantasy romance! Interesting characters, too.

Olivia
The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
Rating: 5 Stars
This is one of the best books that I have read so far. This book is about so many interesting topics --- from womanhood to honey. One thing I will tell you about is that bees bring the characters together as one big family.

Rachel
Massie by Lisi Harrison
Rating: 3 Stars
As the first book in the new Clique Summer Collection, I thought that I would fall in love with the books as much I did with the regular series. Not so much. To me, Massie's character is truly, truly appalling. This book was anything but fun; it was disappointing.

Rachel
Dylan by Lisi Harrison
Rating: 3 Stars
Maybe 4 stars.... This book disgusted me a lot less. Though that does not mean I loved it, it was interesting. :-) When I read a Clique book, I feel enthralled by it, but this didn't have that spark, that attraction to the story. I barely had a smirk, let alone a smile on my face while reading, and I barely gave the story a second thought once I put it down. I don't know what to think.

Sara F.
Generation Dead by Daniel Waters
Rating: 5 Stars
A unique take on zombies. This is a really great book that I think a lot of teens will enjoy. Part romance, part mystery, and an all-around great book. I hope the author writes a sequel!

Emmaline
Rumors by Anna Godbersen
Rating: 5 Stars
Cool.

Katie
Chloe Doe by Suzanne Phillips
Rating: 3 Stars
This book was a lot about self-discovery, and wanting something more in your life. The story alternates from present to past, and Chloe recalls her painful past. It really opens your eyes to how really lucky you are, and as you read you just find yourself becoming more and more sad until you feel like you're about to burst. But, the end leaves you feeling amazing, and that everything can change.

Courtney
Rules of the Road by Joan Bauer
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved it.

Kendall : ]
A Child Called "It " by Dave Pelzer
Rating: 5 Stars
Very sad book. I cried a million times, but I can't stop reading it. i think it is a book that everyone should read. Everyone is oblivious to child abuse, but it's out there and a terrible thing.

Jess
The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart
Rating: 5 Stars
A quirky mystery that reminded me a lot of Road Dahl's books. There were lots of twists to the plot and quite the surprise ending. I can't wait to read the second book in the series. It's not a typical teen read, but very entertaining!

Ravneet
Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was great! I love how Zevin wrote about the undertone of supposed "bad boys" in this novel. A definite must read!

Ravneet
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
Awesome book! The best vampire love story I have ever read!

Rosalie Way
Midnight Alley by Rachel Caine
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved it! She wonderfully continued the thrill of the first two books and made it the best of them all. I loved the plot of it and the mystery just waiting to be solved. She always leaves you hanging, so now I'm starving for the fourth book! I recommend the Morganville Vampires series.

Kaitlyn:)
Blue Is For Nightmares by Laurie Stolarz
Rating: 5 Stars
This book, along with the other three books in its series --- WHITE IS FOR MAGIC, SILVER IS FOR SECRETS, and RED IS FOR REMEMBRANCE --- are all fantastic! I found myself engrossed in each novel, not able to put it down. :] 10/10!

Stacey learned Wicca from her grandma many years ago, and she still practices it in her teen years. When Stacey gets her second chain of nightmares foreseeing her best friend Drea's death, Stacey must learn to interpret her dreams to save Drea. With the help of her friends and the insight of Wicca, Stacey goes with her instincts, endangering her life to rescue her best friend.

By the way, this was my "book to help me not die without the fourth Twilight book" (BREAKING DAWN). It turned out to be 19568 times better than I expected. :D

Connie
Fair by Gail Carson Levine
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was exciting.

Hannah
Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This is, of course, a re-re-re-read. I love this series desperately, and I started reading all the books (TWILIGHT, NEW MOON, and ECLIPSE) in anticipation of the newest installment. I can't WAIT! Anyway, I suggest these books for anyone, really. They are, in a word, amazing.

Katrina
The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I'm a huge fan of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series, so when I spotted her new book on the shelf, I had to get it. The first few chapters were slightly boring and seemed to kind of drag on, but then it just took off. The book is huge (about 620 pages), but it definitely did not seem that long once I got into it.

The book is about aliens that take over the Earth and steal human bodies, determined to make the planet "better". Melanie is taken over by an alien named Wanderer, but refuses to just go away. Eventually, Melanie leads Wanderer back to Jared and Jamie... and straight into the lion's den.
Mwuahhhaaa!!

Michelle
Bloom by Elizabeth Scott
Rating: 4 Stars
It's a pretty good book. It faces a dilemma between being popular with the most popular guy and being with the "class loner". She's torn in both directions by her friends and her feelings.

Katrina
Beastly by Alex Finn
Rating: 5 Stars
This was a twist on Beauty and the Beast. The main character, Kyle Kingsbury, was totally perfect: he had the perfect girlfriend, looked completely awesome, and had loads of money. But, when he ticked off the wrong person --- who just happened to be a witch --- and finds himself changed into a "beast", he looses it all.
His only hope is finding a girl who could love him... But who would love someone so gross?
It's an awesome book for fairy-tale/romance fans.

Annie
Teen Idol by Meg Cabot
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book, as it shows that an average girl can have it all --- romance, friends and confidence. It is an inspiring story that made me see my life differently and brought light and happiness.

Rose
Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice
Rating: 4 Stars
This was written very well. It may have seemed a little slow or long at times, but it was good. It helps you understand vampires a little more, what they have to go through and how they feel.

Becki
The Sweet Far Thing by Libba Bray
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is a perfect ending to an enchanting series. I know some might argue with me saying the ending of this book was a total let down and even though it made me cry so hard the pages blurred, the ending made perfect sense to me (which I won't tell to keep it a surprise). Friendship, love, betrayal, murder, and mystery --- this book has it all and I hope Libba Bray writes more like it. I would definitely recommend this book to others, but you have to read the series in order or else you'll be totally lost!

Lauren
The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was so good!! Though, it was a bit too long.

Rebekah
Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
Another great read by Sarah Dessen. Ruby's such a great, down-to-earth girl. Her circumstances and obstacles really make me appreciate all that I have. Family really is so many different things.

Katie
The Last Days by Scott Westerfeld
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was exciting, full of vivid descriptions, full of musical references, with a mix of action and romance. I enjoy reading sci-fi books, so this was a refreshing new twist on the genre. It was the sequel to PEEPS. I enjoyed reading this book and I found that I couldn't put it down once I got into it. I recommend this to readers ages 13 and up. I give it 5 stars! =]

Rachel
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
It was very good. I was hooked after the first few pages. I recommend it to all teenage girls.

*hailee*
TTYL by Lauren Myracle
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was awesome because the characters were so funny and down to earth.

Lauren
I Heart You, You Haunt Me by Lisa Schroeder
Rating: 5 Stars
This was an amazing book. I couldn't put it down. Ava's boyfriend, Jackson, dies. Ava starts to think she's crazy when she swears she sees him. Soon, she's talking to him. Jackson is DEAD. She's talking to him! All through the story, they tell this amazing story of Jackson coming back and being with Ava forever. However, she soon grows fond of another guy and finally needs Jackson to leave. It's a girl meets boy, girl loses boy, girl regains dead boy back kind of story. I thought this was an amazing book. I look forward to reading more by Lisa Schroeder.

Jessica
Rumors by Anna Godbersen
Rating: 5 Stars
Sometimes sequels of books aren't up to par with their predecessors, but RUMORS is just as deliciously scandalous as THE LUXE. I love both books so much.

J. L. Green
Good Girls by Laura Ruby
Rating: 4 Stars
It was my first time reading a book with this kind of story, but it was great and you really feel for the main characters who are seen as the "worst girls" in the school. As a plus, it shows you what to do and what not to do at a party! You should pick it up and give it a read.

J. L. Green
Socrates in Love by Kyoichi Katayama
Rating: 5 Stars
OMG (excuse my txt), this story is so bittersweet. After reading it, I actually feel in love with true love! Sakutaro and Aki's story is one for the books. The first chapter is enough to make you cry with every turn of the page, but it also makes you want to read more. Don't think that Katayama wants nothing but tears from you, it's so much more to love! Give it a read --- there is a manga version and a novel version, and I would recommend the novel; that way you picture the characters on a more life-like level. So, go on pick it up.

A.A
The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
I love and really enjoy all of Sarah Dessen's books. Her characters have characteristics and problems that many people, including myself, can relate to. THE TRUTH ABOUT FOREVER is one of my favourites --- it's a beautiful story about a girl trying to overcome her fears, learning so many other things about herself and becoming happier, all the while falling in love. Its a great book and I would recommend it to everyone to read.
5 really BIG stars!!

Rachel
The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I have not even read the Twilight books because I don't like vampires, but THE HOST was amazing. I was up all night reading it.

Jen
Generation Dead by Daniel Waters
Rating: 5 Stars
This was an excellent book! It's definitely a must read for Twilight fans. Just be warned --- it is much darker, more violent, and not as romantic. Zombies are not as hot as vampires.

Brianna K.
The Secrets of Peaches by Jodi Lynn Anderson
Rating: 4 Stars
After having read the previous book, PEACHES, it only made sense to pick up the next book in line. I'm currently in the middle (well, almost done) of THE SECRETS OF PEACHES, and it's an awesome story, with characters that are distinct and easy to keep track of. It's so much fun, and perfect for the girls who are off to college in the fall, as Leeda, Murphy and Birdie are!

Chelsea
Rebel Angels by Libba Bray
Rating: 4 Stars
So far, this book is really good, as I expected it to be because it is the sequel to A GREAT AND TERRIBLE BEAUTY.

Kiaraly
Tramps Like Us by Yayoi Ogawa
Rating: 5 Stars
One of my favorite series about a girl who keeps a boy as a pet.

CMK
The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was a great love story that truly showed how love can change some people and bring out the good in their hearts.

Nakita
Crystal by Walter Dean Myers
Rating: 5 Stars
The book was a fascinating story of a African American teen model whose life is transformed when she gets her limelight as a model. CRYSTAL is a good book for teen readers.

Lindsay
Take Me There by Susane Colasanti
Rating: 5 Stars
Colasanti always amazes me with her ability to accurately portray the teenage state. Her characters are easy to relate to, and her stories bring hope to any teen who doesn't quite fit the mold. I highly recommend Take Me There, as well as Colasanti's prior novel, WHEN IT HAPPENS.

Marilyn
Me and Emma by Elizabeth Flock
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was really good! It had some traumatizing moments, and I've read it so many times and cried!

One of the best books ever. I read it before a few years ago and wanted to read it again.

Rating: 5 Stars
It was one of the best books that I have ever read! I stayed up all night trying to finish it, I turned page after page until I did finish it! It is so exciting and it is for people who like thrillers along with a little romance.

Naseoul
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Rating: 4 Stars
ENDER'S GAME is set in the future where humans are under the constant threat of alien warfare. It's amazing how they train the kids so they become 'soldiers'. All these kids are like geniuses/heroes/freaks. It's kind of creepy and cool at the same time.

Hiba
Alicia: My Story by Alicia Appleman Jurman
Rating: 4 Stars
A great book. Very sad, though. You really feel like you're with Alicia and are going thorough everything she is. Everyone should read this book.

Just Listen by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was kind of boring in the beginning. But, I could not put it down. It's about a girl who is always keeping things to herself. She does this so she doesn't make anyone upset. Then, she meets this awkward boy at her school, Owen. He talks to her about his anger management and he helps her a lot in the end.

Rachel
Beautiful Stranger by Zoey Dean
Rating: 5 Stars
During the last few weeks of the summer before college, the A-listers blow off some steam and go crazy in different ways. Whether it's surprising your boyfriend at work in New York, or going into business with an old flame, or reconnecting with an old friend, this A-list novel is just as crazy as the rest.

One of the best books I have ever read!

Artemis Fowl, an evil child genius, attempts to capture a fairy, but gets a lot more than he bargained for.

Emmaline
Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
Rating: 4 Stars
It's ok. This book was not as good as the first one (it is the sequel to WICKED LOVELY). It is centered around a tattoo, which I found sort of strange. It's about Aislinn's best friend (I was a little confused about who Leslie was at first). It is good, but it is not as good as the first one.

The golden Firebird sits in the garage, unmoved since the day of Mr. Gold's death. When the key is found, the sisters start learning to live again, and discover pieces of themselves along the way. This is good stuff. Read it.

Dee
Sundays at Tiffany's by James Patterson
Rating: 3 Stars
When I started to read this I thought that a book about an imaginary friend would be kind of lame, but I was totally sucked in. I've read almost the whole book in 2 days and will probably finish it tonight.

Lola
The Search of the Moon King's Daughter by Linda Holeman
Rating: 5 Stars
I'm not into historical books, but this was different. It takes place in England. Emmaline's brother gets sold into a business that could lead him to death, and Emmaline resolves to find him. It was really interesting from the start to the finish. I totally recomend this book.

Rating: 5 Stars

When she meets the "cute trumpet guy" Ben Wheeler, however, suddenly grades and perfection don't matter so much anymore. Through heartbreak and being "the Korean girl" snubbed by Stephanie, who is possibly going out with Ben, Patti must learn to discover the fine line between what she wants, what her parents want, and what is right.

Funny and heartbreaking, this is a novel that will make readers instant fans of John Green. Sometimes you meet someone who changes the way you think and makes a permanent impact on your life. This is that story --- one about finding and losing, life and death.

Mel
The Boy Book by E. Lockhart
Rating: 4 Stars
This is much better than the book written before this, THE BOYFRIEND LIST. It managed to convey Roo's unmistakable personality without making the reader feel bad about herself. Well done.

Monica
Beastly by Alex Flinn
Rating: 5 Stars
This is a fabulous retelling of Beauty and the Beast from the beast's point of view. The emotion is so raw and real, and I fell completely in love with the beast while reading the story.

Kyle is a typical shallow high school teen who takes his looks for granted. He plays a joke on the wrong person, and ends up a hideous beast. With only two years to find his true love, he's ready to risk everything.

Hannah

This book comes after THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE in the Chronicles of Narnia series. It is wonderful and I really enjoyed it. I have read it 3 times now, and its still just as good as when I read it for the first time.

Tahn by L. A. Kelly
Rating: 5 Stars
The best book I have ever read in my whole entire life! I love it! I don't have anything bad to say about it. It is a gripping tale of adventure, bravery loyalty, and spiritual growth. Tahn, who is a mercenary slave, rescues enslaved children and runs from the people who have held him captive all his life. He lives in a cave with the rescued children, and gets recaptured. I don't want to give the rest of the book away, so you will just have to read it for yourself. I recommend this book for all ages.

It had been about a year since I had read a book from the series, but as soon as I started reading TAINTED LOVE, the story came flooding back.

Summer
Rayna of Nightwind by R.A. Baker
Rating: 5 Stars
I really enjoyed reading RAYNA OF NIGHTWIND. It is a very good fantasy novel. One of the main reasons is because it has a strong female leading character, Rayna. She is strong and independent, even when facing many dangers. Yes, there is plenty of action, battle scenes and magic, but I also liked the romance and interesting plot as well. I highly recommend it.

This book is for the girls who like surprises, love, and drama. POP PRINCESS was a good book with a somewhat happy ending, I guess. But, to find out what happens, you'll have to read it for yourself.

Just Listen by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
This is definitely one of Dessen's best books. I was excited to see that it was long when I checked it out. The characters (like all of Dessen's characters) are amazing. I fell in love with Owen --- he was amazing, and Annabelle was just great. Overall, I loved this book and I highly recommend it.

Nothing But The Truth by Avi
Rating: 1 Stars
This has to be the worst book I have ever read. It was about a boy humming the Star- Spangled Banner. He made it into a huge controversy all because he hated his teacher. I will never read that book again and I suggest that you don't read it either.

The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton

Fly on the Wall by E. Lockhart
Rating: 5 Stars
FLY ON THE WALL really cleared the questions about wHat girls think guys do in the locker rooms. This was such a funny book and it seemed so realistic because that is what I thought when I was reading this book. Although it is really slow at the beginning, it starts to pick up and then it gets really good. I even got my friend, who is picky about books, to read this and she loved it.

This book is the beginning to a wonderful series of books devoted to the many different types of relationships we have over the course of our lives. This important message is explained through 4 fun-loving teenage girls who have many different experiences combined together through a pair of jeans. It's a heart-warming summer tale that can make you cry and laugh at the same time. I encourage boys to also read this book!
