Rating: 5 Stars
The book is great because it has excitement, romance and a girl who can watch you in your dreams.

Amy
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Rating: 5 Stars
It kept me hooked from the first page! It is the best science fiction I've read in years!

Erika
Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book as absolutely awesome. It's a pure love story between a human and a vampire! It's the best book I've ever read! And I absolutley just adore Stephenie Meyer for writing this. I definitely recommend this book. I also recommend the book THE HOST by Stephenie Meyer. I absolutely love the Twilight series.

By the way, there are four books: TWILIGHT, NEW MOON, ECLIPSE, and BREAKING DAWN. You *need* to read these books ---they're absolutely amazing!

Rating: 5 Stars
I love Twilight! They are the best books I've ever read in my life! <33

Josefa
Avalon High by Meg Cabot
Rating: 4 Stars
I really like this book. It was so good I read it in just two days. I love how the story of a simple girl can get involved with king arthur's story.

I have never really been a fan of reading, but last year, a friend started giving me books (like AVALON HIGH) and now I just can't stop. It is obviously better than watching tv.

Catalina
The Secret Life Of Sparrow Delaney by Suzanne Harper
Rating: 4 Stars
At first, when I got the book, I didn't really want to read it. I'm not into that whole "mediums are real" stuff. But when all my other books were already read, I started it, and, wow, I absolutely loved it. The thing that captivated me was that the plot is not the typical one, were girl meets boy, falls in love with him, and ta-da, they live happily ever after. No. It was about a girl who, above everything, wanted to just be normal. Not perfect, not pretty, not smart, just regular. That's something that we usually do not appreciate, but reading this book made me realize that being normal is actually a rather good thing.
I would reccomend this book to anyone who's bored, because it certainly entertained me! And I'm eagerly waiting to see if there's gonna be a sequel too. Thanks!

Jean
The Pact by Jodi Picoult

The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein
Rating: 5 Stars
This book has been somewhat of a relapse to me. I believe that everyone in the world should read this book. It has a bit of every kind of emotion in it. I never thought a book would have the ability to bring tears to my eyes, until I read THE ART OF RACING IN THE RAIN. It's magnificently written in a way that makes me hope that there is a sequel.

Crystal
First Semester by Cecil R. Cross II
Rating: 5 Stars
I read this book a few months a go. It's such a realistic book, I couldn't put it down. Trust me, you will fall in love with each character, and you will find yourself in their world. Try the other books in the Kimani Tru series --- they're great.

Crystal
Keysha's Drama by Earl Sewell
Rating: 4 Stars
This book can help a lot of teens with their troubles. It's a great story about a girl who has to move in with a father whom she has never met. She's hated by her brother and her stepmother, now she hangs out with the wrong people and gets into a lot of trouble.

Rating: 3 Stars
This was a light, fun read with just enough mystery, romance, and humor to make me look forward to the next one in the series!

Tara
The Musician's Daughter by Susanne Dunlap
Rating: 4 Stars
If you're a classical music lover, then you'll love this. It was a wonderful read. You'll be enchanted by the strong characters and the slyness of others. In the plot, there is a mix of mystery, friendship, almost love all mixed into music. You also see the point of view of a girl trying to survive somehow with music. Keep in mind that since it is historical fiction, some things of course isn't true. =D

Reverie (Vania &Sarah)
Demon in My View by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes

Interesting take on vampires. I enjoy the balance (or rather the imbalance) of humans and vampires integrated in society.

Al
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Rating: 4 Stars
Although this book has too much drama for me, its a pretty interesting story. While reading it, I have realised that a lot of modern-day stories, such as those of movies, books, or tv shows, are based on this book.

Shayma

BEC is the forth book in Darren Shan's The Demonata series and so far, it's my favorite. It's about a young girl who tries to save the world from demons.

Brean
Thr3e by Ted Dekker
Rating: 5 Stars
I could not sleep at night! It was a book that I just HAD to know the ending.

Ruth
Vanishing Acts by Jodi Picoult
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was simply incredible. It's about a young woman named Delia Hopkins, whose life suddenly turns for the worse and for the best when the police come knocking on her door, because her father kidnapped her. The story is told from five different people, and Jodi Picoult did an incredible job writing this. It's a great read!

Kelly K.
Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 3 Stars
There's too much of Jacob. He gets boring.

doll
Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
Rating: 5 Stars
If I could give this book 6 stars, I would. STARGIRL is an amazing twist on the "trying to fit into highschool" story. It has everything --- I laughed, I cried, and I didn't want it to end.

doll
Tricksters Choice by Tamora Pierce
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved The Song of the Lionessseries by Tamora Pierce, and I am a big fan of stories with female heroes. TRICKSTER'S CHOICE and its sequel, TRICKSTER'S QUEEN are must-read fantasies; they have everything from a small amount of romance, to a quirky heroine who will win your heart in seconds.

Doll
Bass Ackwards and Belly Up by Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain
Rating: 5 Stars
Imagine The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, except without the magical pants. BASS ACKWARDS AND BELLY UP is a great story about friendship, growing up and following your dreams.

doll
Percy Jackson and The Olympians by Rick Riordan
Rating: 5 Stars
I always liked Greek gods and the legends that went along with them. Percy Jackson and The Olympians is a modern-day version of the Olympian gods. It is extremely funny, entertaining and the characters are lovable and real.

Michelle
The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
I absolutely loved this book! It was great because I could relate to it so well. The only difference is that the main character's situations were a bit more extreme. But, this is definitely a must read, even if you're not into romance. It's more of a book showing that it's always best to speak the truth and that it hurts to constantly hide your thoughts. I'm definitely reading more books by this author.

Chan
The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan
Rating: 5 Stars
Percy Jackson and the Olympians is one of my new favorite series! This book is my favorite so far. It's the third in the series, and I am starting the fourth soon! If you haven't read these, you are missing out!!

Mary
Shadow Kissed by Richelle Mead
Rating: 5 Stars
This whole series is wonderful, but this book is the best. If you liked TWILIGHT, this book (and series) will make you change your mind immediately. It is full of emotions and unforgettable characters that will get you to love and care. So do not waste time, and try to read this! : )

Sarah
Carmen by Carole Frechette, Susan Ouriou (Translator)
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is about a fifteen-year-old girl named Carmen. It takes place one Valentine's Day when she has to make a presentation in front of her class. The thing is is that Carmen has "stage fright", if you will, so she begins to feel sick. She is so convinced that she will do horribly and that she will die in shame because she put a note in Simon Krasinski's locker asking him to the school dance. So, Carmen skips school and she meets and befriends a local rock-star in a laundromat, after she wild trip to the mall. In which she may or may not have been on camera, stolen something or acted kind of odd.

Nancy

Lacey Rose
Pretty Little Devils by Nancy Holder
Rating: 5 Stars
Amazing! One of those books that you don't want to put down until you are finished!

Jenny
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Rating: 5 Stars
This book had romance that was different then the normal kind and had a futuristic setting. It was really good because you never knew what was coming next.

Michelle
A Separate Peace by John Knowles
Rating: 3 Stars
I would have to say that even though I thought this book was very well-written, I feel like it had many unnecessary details in it. I wish it would get to the point a bit more, because sometimes things are described in such detail even when they are not relevant to the story. But the concept is very good in this book.

Michelle
Of Mice And Men by John Steinbeck
Rating: 5 Stars
I actually loved this book despite the fact that I had to read it for school. It was incredibly well-written, and foreshadowing is used so well in this novel. This book actually made me get teary!

Morgan
Eragon by Christopher Paolini

Lily

Rating: 5 Stars
I love all of Sarah Dessen's books but LOCK AND KEY is probably my favorite so far.

Judith
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
Rating: 4 Stars
Awesome!

Kaitlin
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was so incredible! I was blow away. The concept of the story really shook me. The world that Katniss lives in is so unlike our world. I could never imagine having to take the place of my sister in a fight for life because that just doesn't happen. But what if it did? What if our world becomes that? It really makes you appreciate the kind of government we have. The way the author writes is so addictive. i couldn't put the book down. I read the whole thing in one night, and never slept at all. It was daytime before I finished, and when i was done I went online as fast as I could to see if there would be a sequel. I only do that with exceptionally good books. I have told everyone about this book. All my friends have heard nothing but THE HUNGER GAMES from me when they ask me about any books I'm reading. I suggest everyone read this book.

The Luxe by Anna Godbersen
Rating: 4 Stars

Ashley

Jennifer
Wicked: Witch and Curse by Nancy Holder
Rating: 5 Stars
I absolutely love this book! It is part of my all-time favorite series, and written by one of my all-time favorite authors, Nancy Holder. Holder sucks you into a story about witches and warlocks, the past and the present, and the ultimate conflict: good versus evil. The main character, Holly Cathers, is a girl who everyone can relate to and loves. By the end, readers are left panting due to the suspense and are hungry for more to come.

Suveda
The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was completely awesome! It's basically a love triangle involving only two bodies, and on the ideas of love and humanity. For TWILIGHT fans --- this is way better than the whole Twilight Saga, plus its by the same author, but shes gotten a lot better. I loved it so much, and I really hope you give it a try.

Sara
Maximum Ride by James Patterson
Rating: 5 Stars
This book makes you want to turn the pages. For the last week or two, I've stayed up into the wee hours of the morning (yes, on a school night) just to read it. I love the characters, particularly because they are centered around my age group (13,14) and the book is easy to connect with. Even if you read the back and think 'Eww! Mutant bird children!' you should really try to be open minded. It's a great plot and it centers attention on what every human wants, to be special, to be a superhero, to get all the attention...at least that's what every one of my friends and I want. Anyway, it's a great book and it carries a deeper message... saving the world, kids doing something to help stop global warming. Ahh...well there are some great books out there, but these got me hooked!

Sara
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Rating: 5 Stars
My favorite book! It deserves to be a classic, no doubt about it.

Carla K.
Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was so amazing, as were its sequels. The twists and turns in the plots kept it interesting and intriguing. I could not put the book down. I was reading until two in the morning. Now, I have all of my friends reading it too.

Charlene
Obasan by Joy Kogawa
Rating: 4 Stars
Absolutely beautiful book. The novels tone is quiet, yet illustrates a dramatic image of what it is like to grow up in an internment camp for being of Japanese origin. The beginning of the novel has a slow pace, but Chapter 11 resonates (dont worry, the chapters are actually short). And, the fullcircle ending of the novel is my favorite part --- just unbelievably good. One of those books you have to finish it to fully appreciate it.

NW
Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
Rating: 5 Stars
Absolutely amazing. It pulls you in and never lets you go. There are two stories going on, which could be confusing for some, but the book is definitely one that stays with you for a long time.

This is a really good short read. Even though it is a small book, the action just keeps going. And when you think it's over, it's not. It's a book you can't put down.

How to be Popular by Meg Cabot
Rating: 4 Stars
A great novel including advice on how to be popular. It is very funny at times, but can also be meaningful. However, you sort of know what happens at the end the whole time.

Evernight by Claudia Gray
Rating: 4 Stars
If you liked TWILIGHT, you will like EVERNIGHT. I started reading it online and had to buy the book to finish it.

Lucy
The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan
Rating: 4 Stars
The age group for this book (which is the first in a series) is 9-12, usually boys. I, on the other hand, am a 15-year-old girl, and I am absolutely in love with the story. The story weaves Greek myths in a modern-day setting and point of view (the Greek gods get an attitude make-over) with adventure, a little romance and excitement. I highly recommended it. It's not just for kids.

Forever Princess by Meg Cabot
Rating: 5 Stars
I've always loved Meg's writing, but she has really outdone herself with this one so far. I'm sad to see the series I've grown up with come to an end, but I'm enjoying the book anyway.

The Secrets of Peaches by Jodi Lynn Anderson
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is the sequel to Jodi Lynn Anderson's book, PEACHES. This book is about 3 different girls who came together the previous summer and are dealing with more trials ad tribulations that come with being a teenager. This is a very good book! The first was amazing, and this one is just as good, if not better. The three main characters, Murphy, Leeda, and Birdie, are so much fun and totally relatable. I recommend this book and its prequel to any girl!

Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
Rating: 4 Stars
I loved Melissa Marr's first novel, WICKED LOVELY, but I think I enjoyed INK EXCHANGE even more. Set in the same world as WICKED LOVELY, INK EXCHANGE focuses on what happens when Leslie gets a tattoo that connects her to the dark faeries. Although a dark book, the story examines important issues like addiction and overcoming your past. I highly recommend this book to all who enjoyed WICKED LOVELY or anyone who likes faerie stories that have an undercurrent of darkness.

Hannah Lee
Ellen Tebbits by Beverly Cleary
Rating: 4 Stars
It may be a children's book, but it's really good book about friendship. Ellen is lonely, then makes a friend, blows it, then figures out how to get her BFF back!

Amanda
Impossible by Nancy Werlin

Very good. It's original, and really makes you think at some parts (riddle). It went by pretty fast, but my only critique is that it didn't flow as good as it could have.

This book rocks! For those who like Stephenie Meyer's TWILIGHT, I would definitely check this out! It revolves around a kid who finds out his entire life was a simulation and that he is really an alien hybrid. I couldn't put it down the entire time and the ending will leave you begging for the sequel.

I read this book just out of the blue. It was published in Oct. '08 and it rocked. It was the author's first novel and she is writing a sequel to it, and possibly a third according to her website. I thought it was very easy to follow and it caught my attention as a guy. It has action, magic, romance, etc. Very good.

Rating: 5 Stars
This was an awesome book. It had some thriller and romance elements, and many ironic moments. This is a book for any girl who loves to read about vampires. It gives you the sense that not all Vampires are made by biting and not all Vampires are the same from book to book. Get this book, it's a great read!

Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book. It deserves a 5/5. It's about a girl whose parents got divorced, and she is spending her vacation with her father and his new wife. While on vacation, she meets a guy who is totally hot and who is also flirting with her. She thinks they are going to be committed, but he has other intentions. But he is not the only guy. She actually gets sensationally kissed by one of these guys.

This story had me laughing, smiling, embarrassed and crying.
