Celebrate Teen Read Week!
This is Teen Read Week. We know that for most of you reading is something that you celebrate EVERY week, but the American Library Association has specifically designated this week as Teen Read Week with a goal to give teens time to read for the fun of it, allow teens to select their own reading material, and help teens get in the habit of reading regularly and often.
How do we suggest you celebrate? How about by trying to convert a non-reading teen friend to reading by sharing one of your favorite books? Or swap books with a few friends who already are readers. In other words, spread the word.
Remember, if you cannot see the graphics in this newsletter, you can click on the link below, and read the newsletter online.
One other very cool feature --- you can forward this newsletter to a friend by just clicking on the link below. So please share this with everyone you know who loves books and reading.
And now, here are our latest features and reviews...

Tell Us What You Think: FROZEN RODEO
Your opinion matters to the publishers at HarperTempest. Each month they are going to share a not-yet-published title with us that they'd like to hear YOUR thoughts about. It's your chance to read an advanced reading copy of a book (known as an ARC) and tell them what YOU think! What could be more fun than a chance to preview a new book and then share your opinion? It's your chance to be a trendsetter!
This month's book is FROZEN RODEO by Catherine Clark, which is due in stores in January 2003.

Review: SIMON SAYS by Elaine Marie Alphin
Even in kindergarten, Charles knew that he didn't want to play Simon Says. He didn't want to do what somebody named Simon said. He wanted to be himself. If it was a choice of playing Simon Says or standing in the corner, he stood in the corner. Charles is a sophomore in high school now, and he is still determined that he will not play Simon Says.
