| Tell Us What You Think: GOD WENT TO BEAUTY SCHOOL |
Your opinion matters to the publishers at HarperTempest. Each month they are going to share a not-yet-published title with us that they'd like to hear YOUR thoughts about. It's your chance to read an advanced reading copy of a book (known as an ARC) and tell them what YOU think! What could be more fun than a chance to preview a new book and then share your opinion? It's your chance to be a trendsetter!
This month's book is GOD WENT TO BEAUTY SCHOOL by Cynthia Rylant, which is due in stores in June 2003.

| HOLES: Coming to theatres as a movie on April 18th! |
One of your favorite books, Louis Sachar's much talked-about book HOLES, originally published in 1998, has been the recipient of countless awards, including the National Book Award, the Newbery Medal and "Best Book of the Year" awards from Farrar Straus & Giroux's Weekly, The New York Times and School Library Journal. Now the movie based on this inventive and compelling tale has arrived in movie theaters!
Even Stevens star Shia LeBeouf plays Stanley Yelnats, a troubled kid who is sent to a boys' detention center, Camp Green Lake. The warden tells the boys that they must dig holes in order to "build character." But Stanley soon realizes that this isn't the real reason why they're being subjected to such treatment. The boys are digging holes because the warden is looking for something --- and Stanley will do his best to dig up the truth.
Be sure to check out the new companion book --- STANLEY YELNAT'S SURVIVAL GUIDE TO CAMP GREEN LAKE.
