Lisa Samson will delight fans and new readers alike with the up-to-the minute antics of her likable but ever-so-quirky female character, Scotty Dawn, in this sequel to HOLLYWOOD NOBODY. Samson reprises this lovable, get-under-your-skin teenage protagonist who has a past unlike anyone else she knows, in or out of the Hollywood movie business. Her mom Charley (in actuality her grandmother), whose real name is Regina, is a food preparer for an old movie producer friend. Together, 15-year-old Scotty and Charley travel the United States making a living and running from "biker man," who seems bent on chasing them down.

With mysteries galore, Scotty tries to ferret out the truth about her past from Charley, a leftover hippie wannabe, who remains protective and secretive about Charley's early life. In true Scotty fashion, this savvy home-schooled Hollywood blogger manages to piece together that the someone who is chasing them cross country may not be a dangerous threat at all.

Try as she might, Scotty makes the attempt not to be curious, but it's an inborn trait she can't help. Upon arriving in Texas for the food prep job, she meets a forlorn and in-trouble pregnant teen in need of a compassionate friend; tries to match-make the local drama teacher with a coffee shop widowed owner; and learns firsthand about the power of prayer. Getting all excited and feeling a desperate need to go where God is moving, Scotty impulsively takes off on her own to offer her own intercessory prayers for her new hurting friend.

Despite the weather, the danger and her grandmother's lack of consent, Scotty treks down the highway. Hearing from God, she turns around and runs smack-dab into her biker man nemesis. Summoning her newborn, faith-driven courage, she faces this burgeoning man down and discovers God does indeed answer prayer in His own creative ways.

Scotty and biker man have a good long talk, and she realizes the powers-that-be --- namely her grandmother, her Hollywood movie friends and other behind-the-scenes benefactors --- have been looking out for her well-being for years. Stunned and grateful, she thanks God for this new information, which literally changes her life forever. After an emotional journey back to town, Scotty and biker man confront Charley, and more "truth" comes out --- including such minor incidentals as where Scotty gets her love for good literature and the hankering for cheese-saturated meals.

Only Lisa Samson could bring together such a convoluted plot successfully --- and do it so well that readers will be anxiously awaiting the next installment of the Hollywood Nobody series.
