Sixteen-year-old Scotty Dawn, RV travel trailer expert who is the granddaughter of hippie food stylist Charley, opens her eyes to a brand-new day smelling the best coffee in the world. Made, of course, by the greatest man in the world, her dad. Recently reunited with her thought-to-be-deceased father, Scotty is relishing every moment with him as they try to catch up and make up for the lost years when he was searching for her and she was trying not to be found.

Now, Scotty, her dad and Charley are heading to Asheville, North Carolina, for Charley's latest movie job shoot. Asheville…where Charley must deal with the tantrums and antics of impossible-to-work-for director Bartholomew Evans. Spoiled over the years by their good friend and protector, director Jeremy Winger, both Charley and Scotty soon realize that working with an egomaniac isn't fun at all.

But when Scottish actor Anthony Harris enters the scene, life becomes a bit more palatable as Charley and "Tony" get to know each other on personal terms. As Scotty watches a romance brew between her grandmother and Tony, she sets her sights on a young bagpiper named Angus, who helps run the campground where they are staying during the movie shoot. Angus returns Scotty's affection, and it isn't long before Angus's family problems threaten to end their budding romance. Sigh.

In the midst of two heartthrobbing relationships, Scotty and her dad scope out the next step to locating her missing mom Babette. Scotty is genuinely frightened when her former FBI father takes to the road again in search of his presumed dead wife. Scotty's newfound faith also has her searching for God's comfort and direction amidst all the turmoil and change.

Through it all, Scotty maintains her Hollywood Nobody blog that helps her "air" her feelings and angst about the world's obvious misguided priorities. Scotty also finds herself upset and disappointed in her good friend Seth Haas, the newest hottie actor around, who has allowed sudden fame to get the better of him and his judgment. She tries appealing to Seth's better sense, and eventually he listens to Scotty, but not until he has done some real damage to his own relationships.

How the tables turn when Scotty is further called on to act as "interviewer" and romance consultant for Charley, who can't seem to decide between newfound love with actor Tony and longtime friend Jeremy. Scotty, in typical Scotty style, cuts to the chase and helps these aging romantics see the light of day a bit clearer. Though the problems Scotty and company face are still front and center, Scotty is growing up and learning to lean into God more, which can only mean that her next adventure is sure to be full of high-energy antics and lots of soulful (yet humorous) conversations with herself and her faithful blog following. Readers will laugh and cry their way through this delightfully winsome story of a girl whose life is anything but ordinary.
