Dirty Little Secret

Would you give up your dreams just because your parents told you to so that they could make sure your sister could fulfill hers?

Bailey’s 18 and her dream is to be a country music star with her sister, Julie, or at least that was the plan until the record company decided to take on Julie alone. Since then, Bailey’s parents have told her to live with her grandfather and stay out of public eye or they won’t pay for her tuition to Vanderbilt. Now Bailey’s music career has been shriveled down to playing her fiddle in the mall along with Elvis.

"Jennifer Echols creates a wonderful world filled with music and what it means to realize what you really want."

Then Bailey meets Sam. Sam also has a dream of making it big with his high school band, and now he wants Bailey to join in. He knows that Bailey is banned from putting herself in the public eye, but what he doesn’t know is that it's because of Julie’s road to fame. All Bailey wants to know is whether or not joining the band, and possibly Sam’s life, is really worth the trouble.

Jennifer Echols creates a wonderful world filled with music and what it means to realize what you really want. Bailey is hurt, and slowly but surely, the readers will find a way to join the book and actually hear the music as they read. DIRTY LITTLE SECRET definitely has the type of characters that we crave, the ones that come to life and make you feel like to are standing them throughout the story.

DIRTY LITTLE SECRET has Nashville, the perfect characters and the emotions. Readers will grow to love Jennifer Echols’s stories even more than they already do, especially for music fans. The ending will leave the readers smiling, perfectly content with the knowledge of Bailey’s future. Once again, Jennifer Echols does not disappoint.
