Stitching Snow

Essie is a master at surviving. Since arriving on the planet Thanda at a young age, Essie has done whatever she can to provide for herself. She earns her keep by fighting the toughest fighters on Thanda, and she is very good at it. Not only is Essie a fighter, she is also a mechanic. Therefore, when a strange man named Dane crash-lands his ship on Thanda, Essie is the only one capable of helping him repair it.

But it soon becomes apparent that Dane’s crash was no accident, and Essie is pulled into a dangerous adventure that threatens everything she has worked for. Faced with two impossible decisions, Essie must delve into her memories and face the fears that have plagued her for years. If she can face the darkness of her past, Essie can brighten the entire universe’s future. But with so much pressure riding on her shoulders, the strain may be too much to bear.
