Where Are the Children

Where Are the Children
Once again, Mary Higgins Clark has amazed me. Nancy, the main character, seemed to lead a regular life. She was married to a wonderful man, and had two wonderful children, and lived in Cape Cod. What most people don't know is the horror of her past. They don't know of her first marriage, or of her children's horrible deaths. But now, after Nancy has finally begun to put it behind her, it begins again. Her new life begins to repeat her old one. Where have the children gone? She couldn't have killed them, could she? The struggle of an innocent mother dragged me along as I turned the pages as fast as I could.
