Hey, my name is Abby! I am going to be a sophomore in high school this year. I am so lucky I found reading at such a young age because being a teenager is stressful and it is really great to have an escape from reality. When I was younger I read HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE by J.K. Rowling and I absolutely fell in love with reading. Now I own four bookshelves and have a book-buying problem. I also have a YouTube channel, ReadingXpress, where I read books and talk about them. I watch a lot of television. My favorite shows of all time consist of “Friends,” “American Horror Story,” and “Shameless.” I can't wait to discuss my thoughts about books on Teenreads!

Top Five Favorite Books:
1. The A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas
2. ALL THE BRIGHT PLACES by Jennifer Niven
3. FANGIRL by Rainbow Rowell
4. The To All the Boys I've Loved Before series by Jenny Han
5. The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare

Sixteen-year-old Elena Mendoza is the product of a virgin birth. This can be scientifically explained, but what can’t be explained is how Elena is able to heal Freddie, the girl she has a crush on, from a gunshot wound. Or why the boy who shot Freddie, David, disappeared from the same parking lot minutes later after getting sucked up into the clouds. As more unbelievable things occur, and Elena continues to perform miracles, the only remaining explanation is the least logical of all --- that the world is actually coming to an end, and Elena is possibly the only one who can do something about it.
