Hey, my name is Abby! I am going to be a sophomore in high school this year. I am so lucky I found reading at such a young age because being a teenager is stressful and it is really great to have an escape from reality. When I was younger I read HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE by J.K. Rowling and I absolutely fell in love with reading. Now I own four bookshelves and have a book-buying problem. I also have a YouTube channel, ReadingXpress, where I read books and talk about them. I watch a lot of television. My favorite shows of all time consist of “Friends,” “American Horror Story,” and “Shameless.” I can't wait to discuss my thoughts about books on Teenreads!

Top Five Favorite Books:
1. The A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas
2. ALL THE BRIGHT PLACES by Jennifer Niven
3. FANGIRL by Rainbow Rowell
4. The To All the Boys I've Loved Before series by Jenny Han
5. The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare

In the first book of the Shaw Confessions, the companion series to the New York Times bestselling Mara Dyer novels, old skeletons are laid bare and new promises prove deadly. This is what happens after happily ever after. Everyone thinks 17-year-old Noah Shaw has the world on a string. They’re wrong. Mara Dyer is the only one he trusts with his secrets and his future. He shouldn’t. And both are scared that uncovering the truth about themselves will force them apart. They’re right.

Zara Evans has come to the Aurelia Theater to play her dream role in "Echo and Ariston". When the director asks Zara to promise that she will have no outside commitments, no distractions, it’s easy to say yes. But it’s hard not to be distracted when there’s a death at the theater --- and then another --- especially when Zara doesn’t know if they’re accidents, murder or a curse that always comes in threes. It’s hard not to be distracted when assistant lighting director Eli Vasquez, a girl made of tattoos and abrupt laughs and every form of light, looks at Zara. It’s hard not to fall in love.

Chaol Westfall has always defined himself by his unwavering loyalty, his strength, and his position as the Captain of the Guard. But all of that has changed since the glass castle shattered, since his men were slaughtered, since the King of Adarlan spared him from a killing blow, but left his body broken. His only shot at recovery lies with the legendary healers of the Torre Cesme in Antica --- the stronghold of the southern continent's mighty empire. And with war looming over Dorian and Aelin back home, their survival might lie with Chaol and Nesryn convincing its rulers to ally with them.
