Hello! My name is Ansley, I am 16-years-old and I live in Connecticut. Books are definitely my life! I love reading and talking about the books I've read on my BookTube channel and on my Bookstagram. My all-time favorite series would probably be a tie between Harry Potter and the Legend trilogy. In addition to reading, I love writing and hope to become a published author someday. I also play the flute and piccolo and am on my high school's girls' golf team. I am so excited to be a member of the Teen Board this year! (However, I'm not so excited for my junior year of high school.)

Top Five Favorite Books:
1. The Legend trilogy by Marie Lu
2. The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
3. The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare
4. SIX OF CROWS by Leigh Bardugo
5. The Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas

Taliah Sahar Abdallat's mother, born in Jordan and very secretive about her past, won’t say a word about who her dad really was. But when Tal finds a box full of old letters from Julian Oliver --- yes, the indie rock star --- she begins to piece the story together. She writes to Julian, but after years of radio silence, she’s given up hope. Then one day, Julian shows up at her doorstep and asks her to go on a trip with him to meet her long-estranged family and to say good-bye to her grandfather, who is dying. But as Tal spends more time with Julian and his family, she begins to untangle her parents’ secret past, and discovers a part of herself she never recognized before.

Jess Wong is Angie Redmond’s best friend. And that’s the most important thing, even if Angie can’t see how Jess truly feels. Being the girl no one quite notices is fine with Jess anyway. If nobody notices her, she’s free to watch everyone else. But when Angie begins to fall for Margot Adams, a girl from the nearby boarding school, Jess can see it coming a mile away. Suddenly her powers of observation are more a curse than a gift. As Angie drags Jess further into Margot’s circle, Jess discovers more than her friend’s growing crush. Secrets and cruelty lie just beneath the carefree surface of this world of wealth and privilege, and when they come out, Jess knows Angie won’t be able to handle the consequences.

Imogen is a runaway heiress, an orphan, a cook and a cheat. Jule is a fighter, a social chameleon and an athlete. An intense friendship. A disappearance. A murder, or maybe two. A bad romance, or maybe three. Blunt objects, disguises, blood and chocolate. The American dream, superheroes, spies and villains. A girl who refuses to give people what they want from her. A girl who refuses to be the person she once was.
