Review

Unmarked (The Legion)

Kennedy Waters has unintentionally unleashed Andras, the demon of all demons, upon the world of the living. The gates of hell themselves are opening and it’s up to the Legion --- Kennedy, Priest, Alara, Lukas, Jered, and a new member of their team, Elle --- to stop him. The Legion is a secret organization that has been hunting down and killing spirits since medieval times. The Legion consists of five members, and membership is passed down from generation to generation. When a Legion member kills their first demon, they receive their mark. Each member’s mark is part of a seal. The mark appears on their wrists, and when they hold them together it forms the completed seal. Kennedy has killed her first demon but for some unknown reason still remains unmarked.

UNMARKED is a suspenseful paranormal adventure that is definitely worth reading

Along the way, the Legion encounters the mysterious Aluminati. The Aluminati and the Legion have been enemies for centuries, but despite their past history they find themselves working together in an attempt to stop Andras.

The plot twists and turns as the truth about Kennedy’s family is revealed, but she’s not the only one with secrets. The team is threatened to be torn apart as the source of Jered and Lukas’s tension is exposed.

UNMARKED is a suspenseful paranormal adventure that is definitely worth reading. I wasn’t particularly attached to any of the main characters, and the romance didn’t hold my attention, but the book had a strong plot that was very unpredictable.  It was very fast paced and kept me reading. The ending was a cliff hanger that left me holding my breath for the next installment.
